As we already know, there are several different types of intelligence. Perhaps the most important type of intelligence that we require in a team setting or a workplace environment is emotional intelligence.
When we understand the way that a person behaves or the way that a person feels, we are able to adjust our own behaviour in order to better relate to a certain individual.
That is what we call emotional intelligence. Being able to accurately identify how someone is feeling is a skill which takes practice as well as a very good understanding of the basics of psychology theory.
This course will walk you through some of the more basic psychological models in order to explore the personalities, the motivations and the values of the people around you.
This is a 2-day workshop which will explore the topic of emotional intelligence using psychological theory and behaviour models. Emotional Intelligence 2 is a separate workshop which takes a deeper dive into this topic.
