Health and Safety | Cambridge Bay | October 2024

The Health and Safety program is a 6-day course which will provide participants with the necessary theoretical and hands-on experience to recognize, manage, and mitigate risks in the workplace. The course will cover the following topics:

  • First Aid Basics – Red Cross
  • Confined Spaces
  • Fall Arrest (Working at Heights)
  • Fire Extinguishing
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
  • Workers’ Safety & Compensation Commission (WSCC)

This course will provide an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain valuable knowledge and skills that will foster a safe working environment, reduce workplace accidents, and comply with regulations.
